Blackbox Inc. are a modern, forward-thinking company in a fast-moving Fintech industry. When they came to us they didn’t have a brand as such, leaving us with some rough designs from a previous agency and a world of possibilities. 

From institutions like the Bank of Italy and Goldmann Sachs, to newly-emerging Fintech companies, Blackbox inspires them to do the things they thought they couldn’t. Our challenge was to find the wording, brand positioning and design that would speak to these organisations on the right level. We needed to create a full brand for a company who don’t believe in limits, who help others see their own potential.

With an attitude of it being about ‘what you can do, not what you can’t’, we knew Blackbox needed to have a strong written brand as well as design. Focusing on inspiring wording and metaphors that struck home, we created a brand identity that could really tell their story. 

The design aspects were then moulded partly around this, and we made sure to keep the brand distinctive so that it would stand out in international markets. The strong and distinctive colour palette and logo marries with the typeface to produce a suite of materials and a website that makes an impression: one that showcases Blackbox’s work and their attitude of limitless possibility.
