With an aim to embark on its maiden voyage on the 14th April 2018, The London Craft Beer Cruise Company challenged us with creating a brand that could quickly establish itself as the leading craft beer event in London along with a marketing campaign to launch the maiden cruise and drive ticket sales.
Being the first craft beer cruise of its kind in London, we took inspiration from the Thames waterways for the brand identity. The blue bar was leveraged as a point of recognition for locals and international tourists. Positioning the brand as the London's newest institution rather than a seasonal tourism experience.
To quickly establish the brand, we invited 10 of London best independent craft beer breweries to take part.
Our marketing strategy leveraged the breweries social networks and rallied their fans to take part through; paid and unpaid content, email campaigning and third party collaborations with Beer52, Timeout London, Design my Night and Good Beer Hunting.
